Here is how the platform fixes the broken marketplace experience:

  • Community-First Content: Socon-MKT isn't just for selling. Users can post standard social content, share recommendations, and interact with media. This creates an active, returning user base. Sellers aren't just faceless vendors; they are active members of the community.
  • Transparent Negotiation Tracker: When a buyer finds a product they like, they don't just send a generic message. They enter a dedicated chat where the seller can officially update the progress of the negotiation right on the platform. Both parties always know exactly where the deal stands.
  • Flexible Payments & Optional Escrow: When a deal is struck, buyers and sellers have the freedom to choose how they complete the transaction. If they are comfortable, they can proceed with a direct, off-platform payment. However, to completely eliminate risk, they can opt into Socon-MKT's admin-managed escrow service.
  • If escrow is used, the buyer funds the platform's secure account instead of paying the seller directly.
